From November 20th to 21st, the MAST3RBoost consortium convened in Florence, Italy, for the 5th General Assembly, hosted by our esteemed partner SPIKE. This pivotal gathering provided an opportunity to review progress across all project work packages and align strategies for achieving the ambitious goal of revolutionizing ultra-porous materials.

As a key contributor to the project, CONTACTICA had the privilege of organizing the Communication & Dissemination Workshop, bringing our expertise to the forefront to enhance the project’s outreach and impact.

Reviewing Progress and Planning Ahead

During the assembly, consortium members presented updates on advancements in material development, testing, and potential applications. Constructive discussions enabled partners to tackle challenges collaboratively and propose innovative solutions to keep the project on track.

Workshops Driving Strategic Impact

Two impactful workshops formed the cornerstone of the assembly:

1. Communication & Dissemination Workshop (Organized by CONTACTICA)
We led an engaging session to refine outreach strategies, focusing on distinguishing between communication and dissemination.

• Communication: Building public awareness and understanding of MAST3RBoost’s vision and achievements.
• Dissemination: Sharing detailed results and innovations with researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals.
  By defining these goals and aligning strategies, the workshop emphasized how clear, targeted outreach can maximize the project’s visibility and impact across societal, industrial, and scientific domains.
  

2. Exploitation Workshop
This session explored how to ensure the long-term sustainability of MAST3RBoost’s innovations, covering Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), commercialization pathways, and market strategies. Partners collaborated to identify opportunities to secure intellectual property, translate research into industrial applications, and generate lasting value for stakeholders.
