Kick Off Meeting of the H2020 project Soildiveragro

On June 19th, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, the Soildiveragro consortium gathered to hold the first meeting of the project.


The main objective of SoildiverAgro is the adoption of new management practices and cropping systems that enhance soil genetic and functional biodiversity to reduce the use of external inputs while increasing crop production and quality, as well as the delivery of ecosystem services and the EU agricultural stability and resilience.

To achieve this main objective, SoilDiverAgro has 8 specific objectives, each linked directly to a Work Package which have been presented in the meeting, along with the project management structure, financial, administrative and ethical issues and the communication and dissemination strategy.

The SoildiverAgro consortium is composed of 22 partners from 7 EU countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany and Spain), including Universities, Research Centres, Enterprises, Non-profit organizations, Farmers, Farmers Organizations and Public Administration Organizations:
