19 Dec Contactica and the partners attend to BIOMETAL DEMO SC&PCC meeting

The event took place in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM)

Last December 18th 2014, the SC&PCC meeting of project BIOMETAL DEMO was taken place in the UCM (Madrid, Spain). The meeting was between 9:00 to 16:00 hours and project partners discussed about Biometal demonstration plant focus on biological rehabilitation of metal bearing-wastewaters. In this event, a debate came up among various partners about the topic of the meeting.

Contactica had the opportunity to show their progress and dissemination activities of BIOMETAL DEMO. In addition, Contactica commented the most important keys to the periodic report.

Other partners could expose their advances in the meeting.

Centro De Ciencias Do Mar Do Algarve (CCMAR) explained the experiments that have been carried out and results obtained inside WP2 with the sulphate-reducing Bacteria. Also, the Universidad de Salamanca (USAL) explained the activities that have been carried out inside of WP3 and the results they had obtained. Besides, the results obtained by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in tasks 4.1 and 4.2 of WP4 were presented. Moreover, Partner ARMINES showed up the results and conclusions of the activities they have carried out in WP5, both with heavy metals and boron. On the other hand, Contactica, presented the advances that have been realized regarding task 1.5, the dissemination actions of the project that have been undertaken up until now and the key points for the Periodic Report.
